Taking a break from my busy lifestyle is something that I always look forward to. My favorite thing to do is to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature. This is why I came to love hiking, trekking, camping and other outdoor activities. One place that is popular for these activities is Boulder of Colorado. Summer has just past but I’m already planning a trip to Boulder next season to have a holiday. I’ve been skipping Friday night parties and gimmicks just to save up for this trip. My sister has the same interest with me and she also has plans of joining me in this trip.

A lot of people think that old songs are way better than recent releases. Well, I couldn’t agree more especially after I heard the song “Africa” which was sung by Toto. I think I heard this song when I was still young but never got interested in it. I don’t exactly know what its lyrics means but the melody alone got me. Too bad the song did not mention anything about cape town. I heard that it is one of the most beautiful places in Africa so I’m a bit disappointed.

I told some of my friends about how I like this song and they just laughed at me. They told me that this is a sign that I’m getting old. Well, that actually made me think. A few years ago, I was jumping, rolling and screaming for loud rock music but now look what I’m listening to. Uh oh… time for mirror check! I can believe I’m doing this just because I liked an old song. Anyway, what can I really do if I’m getting old? All I know is I really like the song “Africa” and I don’t really can what other people think about it.

Ever felt so useless in your entire life? Well, that is how exactly what I feel right now because my internet connection is down. Yeah… Having a web based business but having no internet connection sucks big time. Calling the customer support of my ISP will just waste my time because I am sure that the support representative will just ask me stupid questions and ask me to do stupid things. Will you click here and there and still end up with no internet connection. I can already imagine…

It’s raining cats and dogs outside so going out with my friends isn’t a good idea at all and to make things worse, my girlfriend and I just had a fight over a petty thing. The best I can do right now is write this blogpost and express how I feel. At least it makes me feel a little better doing this. I just hope things will be better tomorrow and have my internet connection back so I can immediately upload this post. For now I guess I will just have to accept that these days really happen. Oh well, of I go to sleep with high hopes for tomorrow.

I know this is something a little off topic but just wanted to share what I’ve been doing recently. I haven’t got any photos to post though because I just broke my digital camera a couple of months ago. My family and I moved to a new house a few of days ago and up to now, we are still on the process of fixing some things. I also resigned from my recent job to take on a better offer in the city. The salary was a little lower but it offers growth in my career.

I have a few more days before I start with my new job and I still have a few days to relax. This weekend is going to be exciting as well because I am going on a beach holiday with my girlfriend. We’ve been planning thins for a few months and now it finally going to happen. We are planning to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning and have a long weekend by extending our stay there up to Monday afternoon. It’s really sad that the service center hasn’t fixed my digital camera yet because I definitely need it for my trip.
