A lot of people think that old songs are way better than recent releases. Well, I couldn’t agree more especially after I heard the song “Africa” which was sung by Toto. I think I heard this song when I was still young but never got interested in it. I don’t exactly know what its lyrics means but the melody alone got me. Too bad the song did not mention anything about cape town. I heard that it is one of the most beautiful places in Africa so I’m a bit disappointed.
I told some of my friends about how I like this song and they just laughed at me. They told me that this is a sign that I’m getting old. Well, that actually made me think. A few years ago, I was jumping, rolling and screaming for loud rock music but now look what I’m listening to. Uh oh… time for mirror check! I can believe I’m doing this just because I liked an old song. Anyway, what can I really do if I’m getting old? All I know is I really like the song “Africa” and I don’t really can what other people think about it.
