Most people have at least heard of Hepatitis, most likely in the forms B and C. The bright sparks among us have probably deduced that there’s an A strain out there too (scientists aren’t always mad enough to forget the first letter of the alphabet). What a lot of people don’t realise is that the Hepatitis D, E, F and G viruses also exist, and thousands upon millions of people spanning all ages and races are learning to live with it right this second.
Hep E elicits similar symptoms to that of Hep A, whereas Hep B is the only strain that can be transmitted from mother to child through breast feeding. Now you see that the facts on hepatitis are numerous, but necessary to learn if the spread of the disease is to be stopped.
